Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklifts provide versatility and height. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the person using it to raise the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular forklifts could not move the cargo towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually used in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is necessary.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It is available with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specifically to hoist staff. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
