The company offers an exclusive axle based 4-wheel drive system which provides a "Detroit Locker" limited slip front differential and rear differential. Skyjack Reconditioning
SJ-Recon is Skyjacks division responsible for completely reconditioning Skyjacks Electric Scissors and Rough Terrain in addition to various boom lift models and Skyjack OEMs.
Reconditioning Process
Each machine has been carefully checked with all outstanding updates and safety bulletins completed before disassembly. Prior to being thoroughly prepped for painting, all weldments are closely inspected for any defects.
Skyjack's Recon Division has all of the necessary tools needed to perform a high quality, professional paint job. They offer a state of the art blasting booth as well as a complete paint line and oven.
Each Skyjack machine is meticulously reassembled so as to meet original OEM standards. The following components are replaced with brand new parts: the hydraulic fluids, 110V outlet, hoses and filters, the main electrical cables and main control and joystick controllers. In addition, each unit is given new batteries, tires and battery cables and worn pins and bushings are replaced.
