The TX4 Series of forklifts by Taylor are specific 4WD vehicles made for just one task. This job is to transport material in the the most difficult environments. Some of the terrain these types of machinery work in includes: mud, snow or uneven and rough environments. The TX4 delivers supreme performance and has become the top alternative for numerous businesses.
Different than other comparable articulated forklift models, the TX4 is not a front loader chassis with a fork attachment. Instead, it is an articulated material handler completely and specifically designed and engineered by Taylor Machine Works.
Available nowadays, there are 3 different load capacities. The TX4 model is an articulated 4-wheel drive forklift made to out-perform the front-end loader lift trucks. Normally, to be able to achieve the same capacity from a front-end loader or forklift, the front-end loader or forklift must be bigger than the 132 inch wheelbase which comprises the TX4 Series. The TX4 Series articulated 4WD lift trucks are true rough terrain forklifts. They were engineered to have no deration in full turns. As well, this unit comes direct from the factory with 11 feet of vertical lift.
Amongst the most powerful, extremely durable and really maneuverable high-capacity rough terrain lift trucks available these days in the wood products industry are the Taylor Machine Works' TXB Series of rough terrain forklifts. The only producer in the United States which makes and designs rough terrain lift trucks with 18,000 pounds to 30,000 pound rated capacities is Taylor Machine Works. Thus, they have become the leader in this specific field within North America and have earned a solid reputation within this niche.
The TXB series of forklifts all come with a Tier Certified Cummins electronic turbocharged charge after-cooled or air to air diesel engine. Some of the standard engine features include electronic diagnostic maintenance and transmission/engine protection systems, improved fuel economy, water/fuel separator and reduced overall emissions.
The TXB series uses a 3-speed, modulated transmission, fully reversing powershift transmission. This transmission is also outfitted with electric roll shift control, inching ability and a separate cooler for air-to-oil.
