The most active parts of any warehouse are the shipping and receiving docks. These active parts could become very congested. The forklifts should offer exceptional visibility, be extremely maneuverable and as compact as possible. Lift truck operators who are working on a dock must step onto and off of their forklift for the duration of their shift. To be able to solve all of your horizontal transporting dock needs, Yale features the MPE unit.
Yale provides a single narrow reach or NR and a double reach or NDR model to operate in aisles from 8 to 10 feet wide. The narrow aisle units can help a company increase its storage ratio compared to its aisle width. Yale features best-in-class ergonomics with their equipment. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment. This features different configurations for stance options and control handle.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: The Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment offers a choice of fore/aft stance or side stance. It also features various control handle configurations in order to suit a range of operations.
AC Motor Technology: Featured on the AC Motor Technology is the strong acceleration, excellent lifting speeds and fast deceleration, and quick plugging options. This enables the machinery to combine responsive directional changes in order to increase the amount of loads moved during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: the Mast and Reach Assembly features trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings to improve overall rigidity and mast durability. It also is reinforced for a long life extra reach-assembly welding and a gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry-leading lowering speeds, when these are uploaded; throughput and productivity are enhanced throughout the unit.
Regenerative Lowering: By maintaining lower oil operating temperature, the regenerative lowering feature lessens battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: The ground-breaking Electronic Steering option eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence decreases energy. The steering tiller can be adjusted by the operator and the steer effort can also be adjusted by the technician in order to help reduce operator fatigue. When starting up the machinery, the drive tire centers automatically as well.
To be able to create an excellent product line that would keep clients from coming back in the future, Yale has implemented the abovementioned features in addition to many others. There are numerous choices available within the fleet. If you are not sure of what particular features you would need more often than not in your operation, be sure to go to your local Yale dealer and their knowledgeable staff could help you determine your best choices.
